Competency Framework
Our competency framework sets out how we want our people to work.
Our competency framework provides a signal to employees across the council on the areas and levels of performance that the organisation expects.
The framework provides a map of the behaviours, as well as the skills, that will be valued and recognised by us. It sets out “how” we want people within Stevenage Borough Council to work.
The framework is used for recruitment, performance management and development, and workforce planning. In the future, this will also inform succession planning and talent management discussions.
The competency framework also supports the delivery and operation of our Values.
