Bedwell Community Centre
The Bedwell Community Centre on Bedwell Crescent was refurbished several years ago when an extension was added.
Activities
Opened by the Queen in April 1959, Bedwell Community Centre has hosted weddings, jumble sales and various recreational activities during the past five decades.

Facilities
- Cafeteria open to the public Monday to Friday 9am to 12.30pm
- A large hall which has parquet flooring, a stage and licensed bar (capacity 180 people standing/150 seated)
- The new hall is suitable for children's activities and birthday as it has a floor for 'soft play' and underfloor heating (capacity 100 people standing/80 seated)
- A meeting room which is carpeted can accommodate up to 30 people
- An I.T. suite
- Health room run by Bedwell Children's Centre
- Baby changing facilities
- A hearing loop is available in the new hall and health room.
- Disabled access (front door)
- Two disabled toilets
The hall is available to let for private functions, weddings and children’s parties. Discounted rates for charities.
All rooms are available:
- Monday to Friday 9:30am - 10:30pm
- Saturday 9am - midnight
- Sunday 9am - 9pm
Parking
Parking (for 5 or 6 cars) is available in the lay-by outside the Centre and at the shops next door. There are also two dedicated disabled parking bays.
