National Apprenticeship Week and T-Levels
We’re celebrating National Apprenticeship Week!
Apprenticeships are a great option to consider. You get a real job with a real employer, where you gain qualifications and experience while getting paid for the work you do. There are so many subjects now covered by these schemes - from accountancy, aerospace and animal care to vehicle maintenance, web-design and zoo-keeping. Why not have a look and find out more.
5 great reasons to consider an apprenticeship:
- Earn while you learn
- Get high quality training towards a nationally recognised qualification
- Gain skills and experience that employers really want
- Access great guidance and support from colleagues and specialist trainers
- No fees to pay – your employer pays your salary and training
National Apprenticeship Week is from Monday 10 February to Sunday 16 February. Parents, carers and students can find out more on the governments About Apprenticeships website.
Hertfordshire Opportunities Portal (HOP)
In the run up to National Apprenticeship Week, HOP is running the Hertfordshire Virtual Careers Fair. A free online event for parents, carers and students being held on Wednesday 29 January from 5.30pm – 7pm.
