The film will be shown at Thomas Alleyne's, right next door to the site of the factory. Thanks to David Lancaster, who wrote and directed the film, there will be bikes from the Vincent HRD Owners Club there on the day!

Speed is Expensive brings to the screen one of the most dramatic stories in automotive history - the rise and fall of designer Philip Vincent. His motorcycles set more speed records during the 1940s and '50s than any other manufacturer. Some models now sell for a lot of money! Owners include Brad Pitt and Ryan Reynolds. Yet when he died in 1979 he was largely unrecognised, penniless and living in council housing in West London. This is his story, narrated by Ewan McGregor.

Tickets cost £5 (£3.50 for concessions) Please book through art tickets using the link below, or call the museum.
