Shephalbury Park
This 24 acre parkland is in the Broadwater area to the south of Stevenage.
Play area
The play area, to the far west of the park, accessible via Lodge Way, was improved in 2010 and has a range of equipment suitable for toddlers, juniors and teens.
The site has the Stevenage Tennis Centre, football pitches, a bowling green including a pavilion, two basketball hoops, a kick wall, a wild way walk and a changing facility with showers.
Managing play areas
Play areas are managed closely and inspected daily; litter bins are emptied and litter or broken glass is removed. Play equipment is inspected once a week to ensure safety for continued use.
If you have visited any of our parks recently and found a problem with the equipment or with general cleanliness, please let us know.
