Hoarding Support

Our Specialist Support Officers provide support for tenants where hoarding is a concern.

We assist tenants in safely managing excess belongings by supporting them to declutter, improve access and ensure their property is safety compliant, whilst aiming to improve the overall property conditions and enhance the wellbeing of the tenant.

We work alongside our Housing Officers and other teams across Stevenage Borough Council, the Fire service, Hertfordshire County Council and other external agencies to ensure our tenants receives the right support for them.

Tenants can refer themselves to the Hoarding service by emailing hoarding.service@stevenage.gov.uk or ask for the Tenancy Sustainment team by calling 01438 242666.
