Housing Benefit - which can help with your rent. How much you get depends on your household income, circumstances and housing status. You can apply for Housing Benefit whether you are unemployed or working.

Council Tax Reduction - you can apply for a reduction in your Council Tax bill if you’re on a low income or claiming benefits. You can apply whether you own your home or rent, and whether you are unemployed or working.

Second Adult Rebate - you can apply for a reduction in your Council Tax bill if you do not have a partner, but you share your home with someone who is 18 or over, is on a low income, and does not pay you rent. You can apply for this regardless of the level of your income and/or capital.
