  • Obstructed Pavements

    The Council, is responsibe for removing obstructions to pedestrians on the pavement, on behalf of the highway authority, Hertfordshire County Council.

  • Pavements

    Pavements are constructed and provided for pedestrian use. On behalf of the highway authority, Hertfordshire County Council, the Borough Council has responsibilty for some of the maintenance of pavements.

  • Pavements (including dangerous paving)

    The Council is not responsible for dangerous paving, this falls under the responsibility of Herts County Council.
