Old Town's Farmers Market is now a feature of the area with regular markets planned for 2010.
Markets will be held every two months on the following Saturdays:
- 13 February
- 10 April
- 12 June
- 14 August
- 9 October
- 18 December
The Farmers Market runs from 10:00am until 2:00pm, with stall holders setting up at about 8:00 - 8:30am.
The type of produce on sale includes:
- Eggs/bacon/sausages/beef
- Lamb/vegetables/cider/cakes
- Jams/relishes/cheese/pies
- Plants/honey/brownies
Come along and support your local producers who have stalls at the Markets, being held at the White Lion Yard, High Street, Old Town.
- Parking: Waitrose car park
- By foot: walk up Bells Lane, near Boots the chemist
- Those interested in joining stall-holders will need to discuss arrangements with Farmers Market organisers, as they will need to supply their own gazebo.
