Kick-start football fever in Stevenage with a visit to the town centre on Saturday 12 June!
Practice your dribbling skills, see our football freestylers performing tricks and learn how it’s done, test your aim and beat the keeper at the penalty shoot-out, try your luck with the spot the ball competition or World Cup country flags window competition to win some fabulous prizes. Camps Hill Cheerleaders will perform at 12.30 and 1.30pm and there is face painting, funky hair, balloon modelling and funfair rides too! Free balloons, sweets, football flags and whistles are on offer, as well as a raffle and tombola, all in aid TRACKS, an independent local charity, based in Stevenage providing care and support for pre-school children diagnosed with complex communication disorders. With so much fun on offer, we guarantee everyone will be feeling full of footie fever for the first England game!
There’s also a chance to win some fantastic prizes in the Stevenage free prize draw, including England football goody bags, GAME vouchers, two official FIFA footballs and a 42" LCD TV. Pick up your ticket in town centre and Westgate shops, or cut the coupon from your local newspaper, to enter throughout June and July.
