Crime in Stevenage Falls

Stevenage Community Safety Partnership has been working to reduce crime in Stevenage.
The work they have been undertaking is making Stevenage a safer place to live, work and do business in.
Crime in Stevenage has fallen by 12.6% over the last year. This has contributed to making Hertfordshire one of the safest places in the Country.
In additional to the fall in overall crime we have seen significant reductions in a number of different types of crime;
- Violent crime down by 10.8 per cent
- Vehicle crime down by 2.4 per cent
- Robbery down by 31.7 per cent
- Criminal damage down 13.8 per cent
- Anti social behaviour down 9.8 per cent
This has been possible through organisations working together.
