Athletics Track
We manage a County and Regional standard athletics facility at Ridlins End Playing Fields. The full range of athletics events are provided for, including:
- Hurdles
- Steeple chase
- Long jump
- High jump
- Pole vault
- Hammer
- Discus
- Javelin
- Shot putt
Cost of facilities and how to book
The track is available for:
- Individual use on Sunday mornings between 9:00am - 1:00pm
- Group hire during the week – with the exception of Tuesdays and Thursdays between 6.30pm – 8.30pm.

Maintenance and care of the athletics track and facilities
We work very closely with the Stevenage & North Herts Athletic Club to make sure that the track and all other facilities meet the required standards.
To request more information about maintenance, or to report a problem with the athletics facilities, please complete the online report form. Your report will be investigated within two working days, and a full reply sent within 20 working days.
