  • Parks

    There are 10 parks throughout Stevenage, providing a range of sports and leisure activities / opportunities.

  • Parks Pavilions

    The parks pavilions have a range of rooms which are available for hire.

    We manage and maintain three bowls lawns in Stevenage.

    We have 33 football pitches across 9 parks.

  • Play areas

    We currently manage around 90 equipped, unsupervised play areas throughout the town.

  • Golf Course

    The golf centre, at Aston Lane, provides an 18-hole course, a 9-hole course, and a floodlit driving range. The Council are responsible for maintaining these playing facilities.

  • Ecological/geological services

    Working in partnership with other local organisations to support the conservation and enhancement of the wildlife and natural environment of the local area.

  • Common land and village greens

    The Council is responsible for maintaining a register of common land and village greens within its boundaries.

    The Council is responsible for cleaning and maintaining the war memorial on the Bowling Green in Stevenage Old Town.
