The Great 2006 Spring Clean

Spring Clean 23 April at Roebuck Wood and Sainsbury Poplars

Spring is the traditional time for us to give our homes a good clean out, but don’t leave it at that. Come outside and meet your neighbours while you give your local open space a good spring clean.

The whole family will get some exercise and fresh air, and if you’re lucky you might spot an early bluebell or some frogspawn.

As part of the Keep Britain Tidy Campaign, Stevenage Borough Council would like to invite residents and Community Groups to a series of clean up events in their local neighbourhood.

Roebuck Wood: Sunday 23 April 10am – 12pm
Meet at entrance between 85 & 89 Broad Oak Way

Sainsburys Poplars: Sunday 23 April 12pm – 2pm
Meet next to the pond, behind the Community Centre

Equipment and gloves will be supplied but make sure you wear stout shoes and old, weatherproof clothes.
