We offer sponsorship opportunities for the provision and maintenance of floral displays, spring bulb displays or tree & shrub planting.

Sponsorship availability

We are currently able to offer a wide range of opportunities for sponsoring environmental improvements, to council land, including:

• floral displays to roundabouts
• spring bulb displays to verges
• tree and shrub planting
• new play equipment
• litter bins to the local park

Environmental improvement sponsorships

Sponsorship agreements are currently in place with local businesses. However, we would also welcome partnership working with all sectors of the local community – residents, community groups.

Cost

A sponsor will be required to sign up to an agreement to fund the project and/or feature for a minimum of 5years.

The costs will vary depending on the type of scheme that is being sponsored, but we will endeavour to design a scheme to suit anyones budget.

Benefits

The two main benefits of sponsoring an environmental improvement scheme are:

1. Benefit to the Environment
   We attempt to provide a range of sponsorship opportunities that will enhance and improve the local environment for the whole community. The better the town looks and feels the more likely people are to want to live, work and visit Stevenage .
2. Benefit to Sponsors
   Subject to planning permission, the name of the sponsor will appear on sponsorship notices adjacent to the feature being sponsored. The name of the sponsor will also appear on other sponsorship publicity.

The name of the sponsor will also appear in the towns Anglia in Bloom and Britain in Bloom portfolio and other local, regional, and national In Bloom publicity.

How to sponsor an environmental improvement

Once the type of scheme required and a location has been agreed we will prepare a detailed design and costs. It will usually be possible to send you these details within 4 weeks of agreeing the scheme.

The timescales for delivering a sponsored project are dependent on the type of scheme which you would like to support.
