Energy Conservation
We work with local and national organisations to reduce energy consumption in the Borough. We also liaise with organisations and companies that offer energy efficiency grants and advice to the public, run schemes and campaigns and help produce policies and strategies for our town.
Energy advice
If you need any technical advice, or information with regard to available schemes you can call the Local Energy Advice Centre on a free phone number 0800 512012 or visit their website at www.mkea.org.uk.
Owner occupiers in receipt of a means tested benefit or aged 60 or over may be eligible for grant assistance to improve their properties. More information on renovation grants and home repairs assistance. Call freephone 0800 783503 for more information.
