Procurement Policy
The procurement process spans the whole cycle from identification of needs, through to the end of a services contract or the end of the useful life of an asset.
Contract Management
The Council is under a duty to ensure all accepted suppliers are monitored throughout the contract period and are subject to several performance reviews.
Approved Suppliers
The Council does not in general maintain an approved supplier list. We utilise advertising, Constructionline and Procurement Forums such as OGC and CBC to select suppliers to respond to contracts. This enables us to obtain the most up-to-date economically advantageous contracts.
