Local land charges - personal search
A personal search is an inspection of the local land charges register. It can be carried out by anyone upon payment of the fee, but is strictly by appointment only.

A personal search is an inspection of the Local Land Charges Register. It can be carried out by anyone upon payment of the fee. Please note that a personal search does not provide all the information given on a full (LLC1 and CON 29) search.
The Local Land Charges Register is available to persons wishing to carry out a personal search between 10am and 2pm Monday to Friday (subject to staff availability and demand).
It is the responsibility of the person carrying out the Personal Search to identify the land/property and to make any note of information held on the Register.
The Council does not have an obligation to answer any supplementary enquiries when a person is making a personal search.
